Why I created this Masterclass
I came to New Zealand as an immigrant and had to learn how to navigate the job market for myself. I discovered that having the right experience and sending applications wasn’t enough. I had to learn how to position my value for New Zealand employers, build connections and approach recruiters and hiring managers differently.
Since then, I’ve built my own career in New Zealand, been involved in hiring and leading people here, and founded Soft Landing NZ, a community supporting migrants as they navigate the realities of making New Zealand home. This Masterclass brings together the practical lessons I’ve learned, along with insights from recruiters, employers and members of our community.
What this is and what it isn’t
The Job Search Masterclass provides practical, New Zealand-specific job-search training to help you take greater control of your job search. You’ll receive practical tools, templates and guidance, a structured plan for approaching the job market, and ongoing support and connection through the Soft Landing NZ community.This is not a recruitment or job-placement service, and we cannot guarantee that you’ll receive an interview or job offer. We won’t apply for jobs on your behalf. Instead, we’ll empower you with the knowledge, skills and tools to build the right connections and approach your job search more effectively, with confidence and community support.

Before spending money on the Masterclass, your first step should be confirming whether you have a potential pathway that could allow you to live and work in New Zealand. Our free Pathway Assessment can help you get that initial clarity. If your pathway is linked to securing a job, the Masterclass can then help you approach your New Zealand job search with a clearer plan.

Yes. You can work through the training at your own pace and put the strategies into action as they are relevant to your job search.
What resources are included?
You’ll receive practical templates, checklists and trackers to help you apply the training to your own job search.
What happens inside the community?
You can ask questions, learn from other migrants, share progress, build connections and access relevant guidance, resources, sessions and events.
What are the payment options?
You can choose the 12-month instalment plan: NZ$45 today, followed by 11 monthly payments of NZ$45 — NZ$540 total.Or pay annually: NZ$400 for 12 months’ access and save NZ$140 compared with the instalment plan.
